Mar y Sol Pop Festival

Aunque mucha gente considera que en Puerto Rico lo que se escucha es Salsa y Reguetón a diestra y siniestra; existe un gran número de habitantes que se identifica con otro tipo de música. Normalmente, rezagados a rincones de nuestros grupos, siempre existe el rockero, metalero o punko por algún lado. Muchos los vemos, o nos dejamos ver, de vez en cuando por las calles de nuestra Isla; produciendo miradas perplejas (por no decir ignorantes) de nuestros compueblanos.

Parece ser que a mucha gente se le ha olvidado que PR, desde los inicios del consumo en masa de los géneros alternativos, ha sido cuna de lo que hoy generalizamos como rock. Un vivo ejemplo de eso lo fue el Mar y Sol Pop Festival.

Sometimes people take things for granted, like the internet for example. Do you remember the first time that you had access to the internet? Was it CompuServe, Prodigy, AOL or like in my case Eastnet? Do you guys remember the first time you had a broadband connection?
